Ashland Center for Nonviolence

The Program Intern provides programming that creates an intellectual and social environment in which students can learn about and engage in issues and practices in nonviolence. You may earn academic credit for this position.
Specific Duties:
-Works with student members to
--Explore, develop and present programming
--Publicize activities through posters, handouts, social media, etc.
--Cultivate a diverse learning community
--Develops and sustains an online community using social media, including Facebook
--Helps develop and deliver programming for general ACN membership (when applicable)
--Researches and develops materials for distribution that explore ACN issues and supports upcoming programming
--Responsible for collaborating with community and campus individuals or organizations (as needed)
--Maintains file of contacts and procedures for this position
Qualifications
-Understand and support ACN and its mission
-Minimum sophomore status
-Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
-No level I, II judicial or academic integrity violations.
-Have demonstrated ability to guide a student organization
