Brad Masi, former executive director of the New Agrarian Center, will speak on dealing with the impact of the local food economy on Ashland, Ohio, at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Auditorium. This lecture is sponsored by the Ashland Center for Nonviolence and is part of the 2012 "Creating a Caring Community" Symposium. This talk, which will include presentations from people who are producing food locally, observing health growing practices, and connecting healthy foods to local citizens, is free and open to the public.
